Pool Time with Bruce & Terri & kids 07/07/2009

Have I mentioned what amazing family Ian & I have - well, we have the most AMAZING family around. There is always someone to play with and have a good time.
Today, my we stopped by my bro Bruce's house and he invited us to his neighbors pool for a swim. His neighbor is out of town and Bruce's fam is staying there while their floors are being re-done. Holy COW this house was so nice. They had a full kitchen next to the pool...the fridge that they keep outside is nicer than mine that is inside. ;)
Anyways, the pool was nice and warm with a slide and a diving board.
Taryn is a little fish, she LOVES to swim in the water. The only problem is her life jacket is the kind that goes between her legs and she has a wedgie the whole time. It doesn't seem to bother her though...but someone should invent something different.
Taryn and the parentals
We were swimming the Brittany, Alyssa & Brayden who are all little fishies..so Taryn wanted to do everything that they did. Even jumping off the diving board. She did it a few times where Ian just handed her to me & then Ian started dropping her and she LOVED it. It didn't even phase her when she would go under the water. And the cutest part (which we didn't get a shot of) was watching her try to dive in. The kids would dive in by putting their arms over their head first...so when Taryn would get to the end of the diving board - she would put her hands together over her head. So cute!

Our little fishies...You can see the kitchen & dining area in the background.

So Taryn went down the slide with Ian a few times and then wanted to do it herself. At first, I would catch her because there was like a foot drop into the pool. But then we just started letting her go and she still LOVED it!

Britt catching Taryn

Brayden catching Taryn. She really would have been content swimming all night long. An hour and a half was not nearly long enough for her. ;)
Afterwards, Bruce & Terri made us a super yummy dinner. THANK YOU FOR THE FUN NIGHT!!!
