KUED Reader Festival

Taryn & I went to the KUED Readers Festival today...it was awesome, crafts, characters & lots of free stuff for kids who completed their read a thon in November

On the dinosaur train, then she dug in the piles & found a dinosaur egg with a baby dinosaur inside that she got to take home.

She couldn't wait to see the Cat in the Hat - so she ran in their and gave him a squeeze. They gave her a hat just like his.

Belly dancing...so I thought that was a little odd for the entertainment. When they were done a magician came out..who was great. She also played minute to win it & did awesome sorting M&Ms. Then they gave her a coupon for free cookie dough. She also got to pick out a really nice book to take home.

Her favorite character there...Word Girl. She got to make a cape that said, "I am feeling SUPER" and then she added a bunch of T's for Taryn.

When we went in it was sunny with storm clouds in the distance ... when we came out it was snowy. She told me the storm clouds had been naughty. ;)
