David had a lot of doctor visits this week. On Tuesday, he went in for his 2 year check up & had to get shots...not a good time. That same day - Taryn wanted to do a THANK YOU for her doctor. So because it was a warm day we bought creamies & made a cute sign about them being the COOLEST.
Then today, David fell climbing on the rocking horse & cut his chin open. I didn't come home from work right away...because it didn't sound that bad. When I got home I realized he may need stitches & took him to the doc. They cleaned it & numbed it. Then the doc came in & tried to pull it apart & it had already started clotting...so the choice was cause him more pain by pulling it apart & then stitching it up or leave it. So we left it. & the doctor told us to tell the front to refund our copay & that he wasn't charging us for the visit. Was it because of the nice treat we took on the other visit? Maybe or maybe because our doctor is just awesome like that.
**Update** David is going to have a gnarly scar on his chin that will probably drive him nuts when he gets to shaving age (just like the scar that his Papa has on his chin).
