Taryn had an awesome tea party with her friends & cousins. They ate food & danced around & made necklaces & bracelets. After the party we were taking some of her toys out of their wrappings, she brought me some scissors to cut out a rapunzel doll and she said Mama I am now 5 and can do it myself. Since I was sitting right there, I thought, ok, she should be fine. Boy, was I wrong, she jabbed herself in the eye with scissors & we ended up at the ER & had to get stitches (after like 2 hours of waiting). But my princess still smiled at the end...what a brave girl.
